The first green mega park envisaged by the program of the City of Skopje will be launched as a project in the municipality of Gjorce Petrov. The mega-park will extend to the area where the long-standing illegal landfill existed, which in the past period has been completely cleared in cooperation with the municipality of Gjorce Petrov. “We are starting with projects such as the mega-park in Gjorce Petrov, which will increase the greenery in the city of Skopje.” He is on a movе where there was a huge illegal landfill of over 10 thousand m2 which was highlighted as a problem of the inhabitants of the city for many years. Together with the mayor of the municipality of Gjorce Petrov, we managed to clean it, and now we are in the process of making a really beautiful large mega park with additional contents, something similar to the model we now see in the city park. “It will be a place that will be, the center of movement with content for relaxation of the citizens of that part of the city,” said Arsovska in the show “Sleep if you can.”
The mega-park in Gjorce Petrov is part of the project from the pre-election program of mayor Arsovska for arranging “5 new mega parks in Skopje”. These parks will contribute to a significant increase in the city greenery, and Skopje residents will receive new green areas for relaxation.
