Teams of PE “Parks and Greenery” are currently working on horticultural landscaping of the second part of Butelska Street and the park, Sculpture, of the 16th Macedonian Brigade in the municipality of Gazi Baba.
On Butelska Street, work is underway on the formation of a green corridor on an area of 1600 square meters, with the renewal and planting of new grass areas and maintenance of vegetation. The realization of the green corridor in Butel takes place by milling the existing substrate, applying new quality soil, and setting up a system for watering and planting new greenery. Deciduous and evergreen seedlings and ornamental shrubs will be planted in the newly landscaped green area. On the 16th Macedonian Brigade in the municipality of Gazi Baba, the activities for arranging the park “Sculpture” with a total area of 4200 square meters are underway.
On this move, the entire vegetation is intervened, the soil is renewed, as well as a watering system is installed, which would enable continuous maintenance of the greenery. The planned greenery consists of evergreen and deciduous seedlings, which functionally and aesthetically correspond to the space to which they are adapted according to climatic conditions.
The City of Skopje, together with the PE “Parks and Greenery”, continues with activities for arranging new green belts and forming green corridors through the settlements in Skopje.
