By order of the City of Skopje, teams of PE “Parks and Greenery” started with activities for the horticultural arrangement of a new green area on the boulevard Srbija, on the stretch from the boulevard February March to the boulevard ASNOM in the Municipality of Aerodrom, where the construction of the bicycle and pedestrian path in the length of 850 meters, with a total area of 3,400 square meters.
With the realization of these activities, on this neglected move in the Municipality of Aerodrom, a new green corridor will be formed on an area of 3,700 square meters between the lane and the bicycle path on the boulevard Srbija.
Horticultural landscaping is realized in stages and includes the formation of a new lawn, planting new vegetation, and implementation of a watering system.
The newly provided greenery consists of deciduous and evergreen seedlings, and the choice of species is made to obtain an aesthetically and functionally arranged green area.
The City of Skopje, together with the PE “Parks and Greenery”, continues with activities for arranging new green areas and forming green corridors through the settlements in Skopje.
