As of today, we are bringing the Municipality of Aerodrom even closer to the residents, through a transparent process we are strengthening the trust in the municipal services and we are increasing the efficiency of the work by implementing the mobile and a web application “mZaednica – Aerodrom”. This was stated by Mayor Timcho Mucunski at today’s presentation of this interactive digital platform with which the process of digitalization of municipal services begins. He pointed out that “mZaednica” will enable citizens and local government to communicate directly and with one click to contribute to the creation of a truly modern and European smart community, which was one of his priority promises.
The application, which was given to the Municipality of Aerodrom for use at no additional cost, was developed by the Center for Social Innovation “BLINK 42 – 21”, which follows the global trends and the dynamics of modern living and recognizes the need for digitalization of all services which we need more and more in everyday life. The project manager in “Blink 42-21”, Marija Vasilevska, said that the airport people through the successful project “Community – Airport” will be able to contribute to the development of their neighborhoods and said that they are happy that the local government and Mayor Mucunski recognize the importance and need for the digitalization of local services, but also the involvement of citizens in building a better community for all.
“Through the application, every citizen can apply for subsidies digitally, without the obligation to go to the archives of the Municipality, but also to give proposals for the environment, infrastructure in the municipality, kindergartens, primary schools, and other areas, as well as to report problems with facing. “Citizens will exercise their rights in a shorter time and with fewer costs, and the municipality will be better acquainted with the needs of urban communities, which will create better and more sustainable local policies,” said Vasilevska.
The Municipality of Aerodrom and “Blink 42-21” will continue the cooperation in the future in the direction of modernization of the services and more and more comprehensive digitalization in order to facilitate the access of the citizens to the municipal services.
